Measurements

First Measurement

• 1.751g of fertilizer in 1700mL of water.
• EC measured at 432 μS/cm @ 22°C.

Second Measurement

• +1.7766g of fertilizer in 1700mL of water.
• EC measured at 864 μS/cm @ 21.9°C.

Third Measurement

• +1.755g of fertilizer in 1700mL of water.
• EC measured at 1246 μS/cm @ 21.9°C.

Total

• 5.2826g of fertilizer in 1700mL of water.
• EC measured at 1246 μS/cm @ 21.9°C.

After

• Measure the weight of a paper weigh tray I used and subtract from each measurement above.
• • Weigh tray measured in at 1.1224g.
• • (1.751 - 1.1224) + (1.7766 - 1.1224) + (1.755 - 1.1224) = 1.9154g
• • So, 1.9154g of fertilizer gives an EC measured at 1246 μS/cm @ 21.9°C
• pH measured at 4.99, which is slightly low.
• This gave us 135.2 ppm N.
