Ask Emily about a fine-mesh strainer.
Fine-Mesh Strainer
- Autoclave the fertilizer solution and jars.
- Dump them outside on plants using a strainer to collect and loose grow medium.
- Throw the loose grow medium in the trash.
Lettuce Storage
Make sure lettuce is completely dry before storing it.
Label each container with:
- My Name
- Date Made
- What's Inside
- "Not for Consumption"
- Storage Ideas
- Store in a brown paper bag thats folded down tight, but not clipped tight.
- Store in a part-zipped plastic bag with a paper towel.
- Store in an airtight plastic bag with a paper towel.
- Wrap tightly in aluminum foil.
- Store dry in an airtight jar.
