Terminology

Monohybrids: 1 gene, though many alleles.
Dihybrids: 2 genes, though many alleles.
Hybrid: Cross mating - created hybrid offspring w/ 2 different versions of a single gene.
Recessive: If you're seeing it, it's homozygous, skips generations.; If one parent is heterozygous, the recessive gene is hidden.

Dominance: Observed phenotypes / traits are seen in the heterozygote.
Segregation of Alleles: Homologous pairs separate.
Independent Assortment: Segregation of tetrads; Only genes of different chromosomes separate.

These are all homozygous.
