Be vulnerable by vocalizing your thoughts.

I feel seen, listened to, and validated. I feel safe being vulnerable. The supporter may share stories of relating but they don't give advice or try to fix the situation unless expressly asked for. They give encouragement, remind me of my attributes that have helped me through past problems. I leave the conversation feeling understood and reassured.
